New electronic resource - Times Literary Supplement Historical Archive, 1902-2012

We are happy to announce that Senate House Library (SHL) has added the "Times Literary Supplement Historical Archive, 1902-2012" to its electronic resource provision.

This fully searchable resource contains the complete run of the 'Times Literary Supplement' (TLS) from its inception in 1902 to 2012. The 'TLS Historical Archive' includes over 300,000 reviews, letters, poems, articles and criticism by and about a wealth of influential writers and critics.

One of the key added benefits of searching the 'TLS Historical Archive' online is the revelation of the identities of pre-1974 reviewers and critics who, to foster open discussion, were anonymised at the time of original publication.

This resource is available on and off-site to all University of London members who are registered at SHL, and is available on-site within the Library to all other SHL members.

Access is via the Library catalogue or our Databases and eResources A-Z list.
