Meet the Metadata Team

The Metadata Team currently consists of seven people. We are responsible for cataloguing and classifying Senate House Library's new acquisitions for our research collections, carrying out metadata improvement projects and ensuring resources are discoverable through the catalogue

Alison - Library Assistant

My name is Alison Gage, and I am responsible for cataloguing and classifying the History, History of Science, Palaeography, Philosophy, Theology, New College of the Humanities and New York University in London collections. See Alison's profile

Annalisa - Project Library Assistant

My name is Annalisa and I am the Shakespeare Project Cataloguer at Senate House Library. I graduated in Italy in Conservation of Cultural Heritage (MA) and afterwards in Information management (MA) at the University of Tuscia. See Annalisa's profile

Grace - Senior Cataloguer

My name is Grace Beckett, I am the Senior Cataloguer in the Metadata team. Although I have experience in cataloguing and classifying in most subjects including material in the major European languages, I am now responsible for cataloguing and classifying the English Collection. See Grace's profile
