Why can’t I access an electronic journal from just a few months ago?

Our answer:

An embargo is used in academic publishing which controls access to certain publications. Embargoes can run from six months to five years. Unfortunately, this is down to the provider, and we are unable to influence availability. You might like to check the catalogue in case a different date range is available on another service.
