To celebrate Senate House Library's Staging Magic exhibition, the next Book Club hosted by the Friends of Senate House Library will explore the themes of Jean Lorrain’s The Magic Lantern.

staging magicWelcoming the editor of the Oxford World’s Classics Late Victorian Gothic Tales, Professor Roger Luckhurst, to lead the discussion, this Book Club will consider the place of magic and the supernatural in a scientific world.

The Book Club is free and open to all Friends of Senate House Library. If you're not a member of the Friends yet, but would like to join us, simply choose the 'I'd like to join the Friends' ticket option in the registration form.
